The 3/4 teachers would like to wish our students and their families well on this holiday break. Here's what we have been up to these past two days:
We spent Monday hanging out with the 5th/6th grade class. Students spent the afternoon making ornaments, candle holders, playing board games, and making snow. Here's the recipe if you want to try making snow at home: http://www.encorekidsparties.com.au/party-ideas/decorations/how-make-fake-snow
Today we have been enjoying a winter-themed day. Our activities have included references to snowballs, snowmen, and snowflakes. The students have been using all of their math, writing, and reading skills in anticipation of their vacation. It has been a wonderful way to share our last day together of 2015 :)
